Today is world refugees day. We at BizGees set up this company to support those who have been through the refugee experience. Our brand Arts4refugees is custom designed to support them to pick themselves up. Our approach ensures the next generation can learn, engage and support these communities. We encourage them to use their favourite pastime shopping 😉. Yes, the next generation is making their money speak. They are doing a great job making the world a better place for all of us through their conscious consumption 🛍️. They love the approach we have co created with them. Have a look here for more.
Artists have supported refugees in the past on a global scale - For example, Live Aid raised $127m in 1984. This was a live event held in London and New York at the same time. The beneficiaries were people affected by the drought in Somalia. So, when our customers said they wanted to support local artists as well as the refugees. - we had to use our brain power to its maximum to figure out how to integrate the two together. Thankfully, the dedication of our team made this innovation happen. We can now finally tell our customers our current approach meets all their needs. So, now we support those affected by the refugee experience. We support our local arts community. We also take our carbon footprint seriously.
Enough about us. Let’s highlight 3 incredible artists whose contribution has had a massive impact. They all went through the refugee experience. They managed to pick themselves up and become agents for social justice. So, lets see who they are and what they have achieved.
